WHO WE ARE

Days For Girls was started in 2008 when Celeste Mergens went to Nairobi as she was working with a local organization there assisting with an orphanage. There, she saw that many girls did not have acess to pads or any other sanitary items. They only would sit on cardboard until their cycle finished. This inspired Celeste to come up with a solution: Disposable pads. But because there was not a place for those disposable pads, they came up with a plan B. And that would be a long lasting washable pad.
